This Thursday, March 6, 2025, maximum passenger saturation has been recorded on several lines of the Collective Transport System (STC) Metro of Mexico City. One of the most affected is Line 3, which has problems with the progress of the trains, resulting in delays of up to 10 minutes, while Line 9 is experiencing the same, but the units are moving more smoothly. Users report a waiting time of over eight minutes.
According to updated information at 7:55 AM, the situation on the different Metro lines is as follows: on Line 1, there is a waiting time of more than six minutes due to slow train movement. On Line 2, there is high passenger influx, but trains are progressing steadily, with the Zócalo/Tenochtitlan station remaining closed.
As for Line 4, the service is stable and has low demand, with trains taking five to six minutes. Line 6 maintains stable service, although there is high demand from users. On the other hand, on Line 7, maximum passenger saturation is reported, with indications of a waiting time of over 10 minutes, although the trains are progressing well.
On Line A, there is maximum passenger saturation due to problems with the output of the units from the base, with trains experiencing difficulties in advancement. On Line 12, slight issues are reported at some stations due to passenger saturation, with no breakdowns at the moment, but alternatives are recommended.
On Line 8, slow train movement is observed due to high passenger demand, as well as on Line 9, where there is maximum user demand at several stations, but no breakdowns at the moment. Line 5 also registers high passenger demand at various stations. On Line B, slow unit movement is reported, but no breakdowns are recorded, with waiting times of six to ten minutes in some cases. It is advisable to take precautions while traveling.
